What to do and what to see:

Mexico City, the capital of Mexico, is a diversely populated city filled with nightlife. The two-fold heart of the city includes the old-town area of Centro and the newer commerce area of Zona Rosa. For travelers’ convenience, the Benito Juarez International Airport in the eastern part of Mexico City offers both taxi service and an efficient subway service called the Metro. One of many must-see sites include the Plaza de la Consitucion (called Zocalo by the locals), one of the largest city squares worldwide. You’ll want to stop by the northern part of the city to see La Catedral, the oldest and largest cathedral in the Americas. For the culturally minded, museums are plentiful and include a children’s museum in Chapultepec, and the National Art Museum and the San Carlos Museum, just two of several located in Centro. History buffs will love the historic archaeological pyramids located in Teotihuacan, as well as the rich historic waterways of Xochimilco. There’s something for everyone!
