What to do and what to see:

Poised at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains, the beautiful city of Pasadena is just 11 miles north of downtown Los Angeles in Southern California. With almost year-round sunshine and a warm climate, any time is great to take in the city’s wide variety of art, culture, music, fine dining, shopping and sightseeing. With dozens of gardens, museums, theaters and music venues, kids and adults alike will have a tough time deciding which attractions to visit. Plan a drive down “Millionaire’s Row” to appreciate the opulent mansions of wealthy residents. Pasadena is famous for hosting the Tournament of Roses Parade every New Years Day, and tour packages can be purchased which include the parade and the Rose Bowl (American) Football Game, a tradition dating to the early 1900’s. The birthplace of famous chef Julia Child, the city has several hundred top quality restaurants, offering cuisine of every ethnicity imaginable. Leave the scarf and gloves at home and plan a visit to the bustling, cheerful city of Pasadena.
